Installation / Performance

John Fanning invited people to his party. The party become more and more populated, rowdy and uncontrolled. The attendees re-arranged, destroyed and littered the space on their own accord. A lack of control gave birth to a chaotic beauty.

The party is over. One day after John Fanning stays in the room exploring the ruins of his works.

 All Yesterday’s Parties is a site-specific installation/performance.

John Fanning born 1978 in Los Angeles, California is an artist living and working currently between Den Haag, Holland and New Hampshire, US. His work encompasses installation, performance, sound, video, sculpture/objects, digital technology and conceptual ideas. Fanning exclusively works with re-used and recycled materials, information & ideas. Travel & exchange is an important aspect of his work as well.
