STeW

Like a blank page within the reach of any onlooker, the street invites you to leave your mark, some colour splashes along your way, a cut out on a door, a splash of fat cap on a wall ...

I began at a very young age to paint in the street. Those were "on the spur of the moment" interventions with no artistic plan in mind. The street to me felt like a playground, in which the forbidden and the danger were fuelling my desire for recognition.
Today the street is less a challenge than a window display where I can express myself, and still a favourite place and way of expression; and what could be best for a Street Artist than to settle in a city like Vitry where the artists are allowed to express themselves freely on their hometown walls ?!
