WES's CIRCO PAPI KUKO

After a long history with the FCKN BSTRDS, Planet Art, Gallery Slaphanger & the Kamikaze Circus I went back to the Netherlands to start at the "Willem de Kooning Academy" in Rotterdam to study graphics & fine art.

Here I meet at a "Theo Peol" drawing class my classmate Eric Roelen who comes a week late because he was climbing the "Mont Blanc"???

Inspired and impressed by some 4th year students we start our adventure!
One of this 4th year students is Marcel van den Berg.
Eric and me made some exhibitions and projects like the "DSPS" d.i.y. summer camp and the legendary "kunst en bier neuken" (art and beer fucking) exhibitions.
Guess who drunk the most beer there ... Marcel ...
Marcel and I (and others) did some Graphic events called "Ets, Druks & Rock'n'Roll" (Etchings, Prints & ...). The ink could be find everywhere while singing "Be Bop A Lula" in the atelier of Pictura. And at the after parties by the old masters Bouke Ylstra & Hans Andringa you could find more prints and beer and rock'n'roll!!!

In 2006 I do a course for the Academy Gallery called "Blaak 10" here I meet Anna Hilti, Anita Zumbühl & Stefanie Töny (and others) with their exhibition "Deep Trash on the Spot". Their enthusiasm is what I was seeking for 2 years in Rotterdam and could not find. The next summer I got invited to visit their legendary exhibition "Satan takes a Holiday" in Liechtenstein a month long parties mith models, clothes, scouts, and fireworks and on Sunday in the church whole Liechtenstein was talking about it.

Last Summer Maja Gehrig (also "Deep Trash on the Spot") invited me to perform on her festival "Waiting in the Wings" in Maastricht, here I meet Oli Dolder after nights of GG Allin & the Murderjunkies and d.i.y. Tattooing diamonds he invites me to come to Basel to perform on the after party of the Guillaume Daeppen exhibition "You say art! We say yeah!" We made some voodoo soup and rituals an than last Christmas Guillaume Daeppen invited me to make a plan for his gallery ...
